Will never! Find at one time including the original display/storage wood box which alone weighs a ton! And of very high quality, obviously this equipment was made with lot pride and to a quality and precision that si sadly! Missing today!

This was purchased at a local estate sale1. One d. F. 10x80 schneider kreuznach binoculars with o dkl x and a serial nmuber 18931 written on it. This binoculars appears to have not been used that umch compared to others i have seen in other listing.

It ahs been painstakingly! Cleaend from inside leaving nothing to chance! The quality optics does not have single scratch although one of the prism is chipped but it has no bearing on the image quality when viewing throught the binoculars, which is simply awesome! sA described below. There is no dirt inside, even the filter mechanism works like new and in perfect sync with each other, and the four filters too have been cleaned from both front and rear and the filter mechanism lubricated which is no easy task!

As anyone familiar with this binoculars will tell you. The mechanism which move the the movable part of the binocular for the stationary part works like new and too!

Has eben lubricated. The adjustable mechansim on both eye pieces work great. 2. Original cradle or bracket for holding the binoculars, this bracket moves the the binoculars up or down to the desired postion, it works great and moves freely it might need to be tighten up a little in my opinon but i am not an expert in this field.

Serial nr bva 1027.3. Battery holder with markings clm and eagle with open wings symbol and a f written on the lid and words htu written in black plastic in the bottom of the holder. Thsi battery holder appears to have never if ever! Used and it supply power for the tiny bulb which mounts underneath one of the eye piece for viewing in dark. The bulb holder has the word clm written on it the movable mechanism that open and shut the light bulb compartment in th bulb holder works like new and has been lubricated. The battery cable from the bulb to the battery compartment and plug is also in great shape! 4.

Rare! Mounting tripod with twin turrets one which has the rde handle is for slow precise moving of the tripod mount which should move the binocular mounted in the cradle very slowly to desired position. The fast rotating turret is not moving due to many years of lying idle and will need to be looked at. The serial number written on the tripod omunt is bva 1012.5.

Of these. This probably the last! Binoculars you will ever want ot own! Due to its very dark rare olive green paint which is orginal my guess is that it might well have been made for the german air force. You will need a very strudy tripod which will be able to withstand the combined weight of the binoculars, cradle and the tripod adapter with twin turrets. The pics you see here of the actual outfit and probably one fo the best preserved outfit you will ever find! Given teh age being more than 60 years old! In short! Thsi quality binoculars is joy!
